i got new glass. a 100mm macro with stabilization. and here i was going to be completely content with a 50mm.
so! i did a few test shot. i was shooting snowflakes today. it's almost as if the higher power said "she got a new toy, let her play" (it almost never snows in St Louis) but, they were melting as soon as they hit, well, my window ledge.
however, this summer, bees and dragon flies be warned!

long time no update. but i got out an shot some great fall colors. we have some great parks and trails here. enjoy!

not much actually to report.
i did get a macro lens. however the weather here sucks (when i am not at work). the week i got it it was 100 degrees. i tried to shot and lasted about 30 minutes outside. but i got a couple few sots.

i actually have a the whole weekend to my self and was just thinking of going out today. checked the weather.....storms all day. (see what i mean?)

so, i haven't updated in a while, but here it is.
i have been to the gardens twice. now i have some new shots up since the roses came in.
and thanks to my new tog friend, i have bought a macro filter. didn't even know that existed for my camera. not a new lens because i just can't afford that, but the filter will be fun to play with. he also has me much wanting and IR filter. the bastard.
he is MUCH better than me, but lives right here and adores my area. plus, he puts up with me and we fit well. so....

i also got out to the Basin again. my guy likes being a "work horse" so he rows my ass around in a boat. i was able to get the baby ducks!!
and the colored people. (if you took that as racist, ask your self who the racist one is here)

ok so i was SO excited when i saw the tree outside my loft turn white (i figured it should have by now and wasn't going to) however, when i went to pull some shots i have from the "tree life" photo documentary i am doing, i realized i only started shooting it in November sooooo i have late fall and totally bare. no good snow this year and that sucks. but, i will do the white shots this weekend i think. then just two more full seasons.
